I'm working on new year's eve and I am rather glad. After 1 week of no work, I was getting bored and restless at home and I was dwelling on the 'did not happens'.

What's a better way to be at work in the pub, being with friends and serving free food and drinks and perhaps good tips too.

Now, time to think of new year resolutions..

1. let bygones be bygones
2. forget about what ifs, whats not
3. lose weight
4. go out more often
5. have more fun
6. stop lying to myself
7. stop being in denial

My Christmas in London...

I was meant to spend Christmas with Zed, and this was after wondering if I'll be spending it in France or Cardiff, which then I later decide I should remain in London. 2 weeks ago, I found out that it was not going to happen wither with Zed. When my colleagues realised I did not have a plan for Christmas, I was invited to join their family. They were really kind to have thought of me and I was simply touched by their generosity.

I then joined Graham for a Mulholland family Christmas celebration. This morning after coming home from working at the pub about 1am, I was making tiramisu at home to bring to the dinner. Painstakingly long process as I was using espresso and my espresso maker only makes double shot at each go.

Graham and his mom came to pick me up at 1pm and we started eating at 3pm. My first Christmas English dinner. I had the pleasure of being in the company of a family who took me in with open arms and each family even bought me a present. I must have done something right to deserve all these good time.

I came home with a bag load of presents and not to forget that Fabio, Dave, Magda & Natalie bought me presents too. I'm having a good Christmas... Tomorrow I will see how I feel, and if I feel not-so-lazy, I will go check out the sale. Otherwise it will have to wait for the weekend. 3 more weeks and I'll be going to Switzerland/France... Gotta start buying things for that trip now..
